  2. No hidden benefits
  3. Not during government working hours
  4. Not affecting studies
Seven desirable qualifications of “Good Deeds from the Heart” Volunteers :
  1. Honest, dedicated, patient, and considers  benefit of others over personal benefit.
  2. Possesses morality, loyalty, and goodwill towards others.
  3. Possesses discipline and a sense of responsibility; respects the law.
  4. Polite of word and behaviour.
  5. Does not partake of alcohol or other addictive substances during work.
  6. Possesses a strong will and positive attitude towards helping others.
  7. Respects traditions and seniors.

Dress code for “Good Deeds from the Heart” Volunteers:

Phraratchathan shirt or appropriate shirt without organisation logos; students can wear uniform or uniform skirt/trousers; royally-bestowed cap and scarf and volunteer ID card. Outfits must allow freedom of movement, with the following considerations:
  1. Only registered volunteers can wear the above outfit
  2. Volunteer uniforms cannot be transferred to others
  3. Volunteer uniforms cannot be copied (due to copyright), and cannot be sold or distributed.

Registration procedure
 
The Royal Initiative Volunteers Project Operations Centre will announce each registration session.
 
Venue (Central Region): Office of the Royal Household, Sanam Sua Pa; or district offices of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration according to individual house registration. Provincial registration can be done at all district offices.
Registration steps
Fill in the application form and submit with identification card, and have a photograph taken for volunteer records and ID card.
 
Interview to check area of interest and skill levels to assign suitable responsibilities.
 
Attend ceremony at assigned locations to received royally-bestowed uniform accessories including hat and scarf.
